Aaaaaaah this is so goood!!!!

Kerosyn responds:

Glad you like it! I wasn't too sure about using those kong kicks at first, but I guess I tied it all up.

very angry song

Another one of my favourite songs from you I don't know why I haven't reviewed earlier.
I'm a sucker for long songs. I don't mind if they drag on for a while without anything new. While that sounds essentially like a bad thing, I don't think that's always the case, and this is one such example.
This song I think is really good at building suspense. It sounds unsettling to a certain degree, like not everything is right. Then you get to 2:24 and it changes things up ever so slightly. This was when I realised I already liked the song. The song slowly building up, adding things to the song is a nice way to make the song not a bore to listen to, I think. Nothing too intense yet though.

Then you're back to a pretty length stretch of the same noise. You already know what the song has in store at this point, which I think does do a good job of keeping people interested. People generally know that songs don't get to the most intense part early on, so they know it's yet to come.

Then comes the part at 6:19. I adore this part, it does such a great job of building suspense, because people know a drop is coming. And that drop is intense and fun and makes the entire thing worth it.

At least, that's what I think. And that's why I love this song.

Oh, I can't believe I didn't review this before.
It's amazing. I believe this is the single most impressive song you have done. It's fun to listen to, and at the same time manages to feel nostalgic and saddening every time I listen to it.
I don't know how you did it, but this is just amazing.

Cacola responds:

The secret is to try and write a 2000s style pop song but also be a generally depressed person.
That's how you get into the music industry don't tell anyone it's a secret.

How about you don't steal someone's work that isn't supposed to be on here? reported.

This is great. I completely zoned out while listening to this, and it didn't even feel close to 8 minutes when it was done.

Cacola responds:

That's the tricky part about about writing ambient, getting 8 minutes to somehow feel like 4, lol.

Thanks for support! ♥

so this is just chakra with a really bad effect put over it. The pure definition of laziness. Even just calling this your own work is wrong.

Vamyr responds:

nope u didnt see what i did i worked very hard on it so plz itz not that bad effect

My only real problem with this is that the piano begin takes too long, could easily do with being halved. But I like it, overall. Sounds slightly nostalgic for some reason. I wouldn't know why.

Cacola responds:

Yea, I've been figuring out ways to cut it down without it sounding off.
Nostalgia was 100% what I was going for! Glad it got through
Thanks for the review! <3

You never fail to let me down, do you?

Kerosyn responds:

I couldn't possibly! Unless I can. That remains to be seen.

I wasn't really a huge fan when I heard the begin of the song, but like you usually tend to do is just make it work out so well that I do end up finding the song surprisingly good. Having listened to it a couple times by now, I really do like this song, a lot. I don't know how you do it, man, but you're just like a master with obscure genres or experimental.

Cacola responds:

Haha, that's awesome! I'm glad I could turn you on to some new styles! Thanks for the support! <3
